I'm just curious as there has been approvals contrary to the bulletins in the years before. Please don't flame me as i'm just looking for any signs of hope around the corner for the EB3 folks.

Getting more and more people on board with immigration voice goes hand in hand with fund raising we need to broaden our base to have more voices and more dollars.

yeah the meeting was really good..I got to meet many people but had to leave a bit early. For a first meeting (for me) I got an overview of IV etc and put faces to the handles I see in here. For future meetings I think we should
1) establish action items
2) find volunteers to carry out specific action items
3) set drop-dead dates for each item
4) find a conduit for communicating back the results /feedback from the implemented tasks (yahoo groups works fine)
5) list out our progress/obstacles/lessons learnt

Amount Received : $ 1475.00
Section : Mem of profession w/adv deg,or of exceptn'l ability
Sec .203(b)(2)
Can some one please helpme out in this regard.

I actually sent evl instead of paystubs. I cant produce paystubs because I am not currently working with them

Another question.
If I wait until my new I140 got approved through new employer and then switch. Now a days because of PERM process and premium processing for I140, it may be approved within two months.
Then even if the old employer withdraws 140, does it effect the priority date of already approved 140?
Do any one has answer for this? Please respond

I dont think The Successor of Interest petition would be necessary as his employer is the company who acquired the other compnay. If it was the other way around then the Successor of Interest petition would have been a necessity.

I just read the instructions for E-filing of AP. This is what it says -
Who is Not Eligible to e-File This Form:
You are not eligible to electronically file this form if:
You have a pending I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence Status or Adjust Status currently at a USCIS office and you are eligible to file the I-131 for no additional fee.
Does that mean that only if your 485 application is @ a local office. My 485 is @ NBC, Biometrics is next week. I was told by my attorney that my application will then be transferred to local office for a interview. Don't know when though. Am i still eligible to E-file. Would appreciate any advice.

Is it possible to transfer H1 from company A to B after I-140 approval and H1- 3 year extension and continue the GC process (apply for I-485 when date becomes current) with company A provided company A has no objections?

I'm not sure if most of the people here knows the reason behind EB-3 Disaster. Clinton gave amnesty to thousands of illegal workers and ask them to file Labor Certs. They were all taken as EB-3 with PD Apr'01-2001. I think they are called 245 I cases. Google it and find out.
That is the reason EB3-I is not moving and will not go anywhere as other people may file in EB-2 and move on, but 1000s of illegal workes are stuck ahead of us...

I am in H1 and filed for 485 and EAD, AP. Still have my H1B visa in my passport. Does getting EAD mean you are no more in H1? Or you really have to USE it to be out of H1.
