The purchase of a piece of property in America, a single-family house, a PUD (planned unit development) or a condo (flat within a condominium) will guarantee you and your family a green card. Thirty-five accredited investors will have the opportunity to acquire real estate in the south-eastern state of Florida � by purchasing a house � they will be granted a green card for permanent residence and right of employment for the buyer himself and his/her entire family.
Additional conditions are that the prospective buyer must have a clean criminal record, a good credit record, the ability to present and prove a decent monthly income, and no outstanding financial obligations or credit liabilities. The purchase itself can be done either with cash, bank transfer or monthly instalments, but the financial resource must be proven legitimate.

They would have verified PIMS while giving your wife the H4. But they will again verify with PIMS as one of the steps to issue the H1 visa. I dont think they will bypass it.

The most important point to be noted here is:
The job / position should demand a person with Master degree or a Bachelor's degree with more than 5 yrs experience in order to quality for EB2.
Not just having a Master degree or Bachelor's plus 5 yrs experience is gonna help.
So there are a lot of things to be looked at else u will be denied a EB2 labor.

This is not true.. First time H4 when the dependant is on in US will NOT have I797. They just go to consulate with spouse's H1B to get H4 Stamped. I-797 for H4 will be received when H4 is extended with H1 here in US. That is what we also have and I have done 3 extensions/stamping for H1/H4 already with no issues
You said she got a H4 stamp when she first came to the US based on your H1B. That could not be true. She must had a I-797 approval notice of her H4.

Thought folks might find the following interesting.
I recently returned from a visit to Canada where I stayed with my brother-in-law, who owns a small but very successful web development shop. He told me that due to the booming Canadian economy, he can no longer find experienced programmers at reasonable bill rates. So he's been doing some outsourcing to get cheap foreign labor ... hiring American programmers !
Where was that? Vancouver? Toronto?
Was it Java or LAMP or .NET stuff?

On August 5, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

A receipt of notice is generated immediately. As soon as your application reaches the USCIS ofice they generate the receipt of notice and post mail it to the attorney. It takes 2-3 days for the mail to reach your attorney so we can assume that the total time to get the receipt of notice from the day it was filed should not be greater than 4-5 days.

Hello everyone,
I was scheduled to go to an I485 interview(PD: March 2006) at the end of this month.
Here is my situtation, my H1B was expired at 08/15/09 and I renewed my expired EAD(expired in January, 2009) on 07/30/2009. However my previous employee laid me off on 08/31/09. Before I got my new EAD on 11/18/09 and started my new job on 11/23/09, there was a period of time(from 09/01/09 to 11/22/09) that I was umemployed without a valid H1B or EAD.
Is that a big deal when I go to the interview? If it is, does anyone want to provide any advice?

In my appointment letter I saw State of Residence:Tamil Nadu.
I didnt select this option.How this information came to my appointment letter.:confused:
I selected the option before taking appointment.... Indian Citizen Residence in USA.
Is there any chance to change that.My appointment date is with in one week.
Do i have to call anybody regarding this.
Pls tell to me any other options regarding this.
